5. St Peter and St Paul's Church, Exton

A medieval flint church which was much restored in 1847. A 13th century piscina can be seen in the south chancel.
The east stained glass window is an excellent example of an abstract Arts and Crafts design, by Charles Sydney Cooper dating from 1891. Also by Cooper, the stylised tree of life stencilled on the east wall was (re)discovered in 1995.

Returning to Church Lane, continue to the end then follow a right-left dogleg into Allens Farm Lane. At the turn in the lane take the footpath across the field leading to Corhampton Church, emerging at the roadside between some farm buildings.
