Location of the Outdoor Sports Centre
The Outdoor Sports Centre will be located mainly on the University of Winchester land, Bar End, between the Garrison Ground and King George V Playing Fields.
To fully accommodate the facilities it will be necessary to acquire a small area of land from Winchester City Council and possibly from Hampshire County Council. Discussions are taking place with key personnel from both of these organisations to agree the possible lease of land to the University of Winchester.
