Passport to Leisure - Discounts at Meadowside Leisure Centre
The Passport to Leisure scheme provides discounted rates on various fitness and sports activities to those on restricted incomes.
Eligible customers include:
- Registered students with current NUS card (not in full time employment)
- Registered unemployed
- Registered disabled (incapacity benefit)
- Lone parents receiving income support
- Persons over 60 years of age
Fitness suite membership, fitness classes, badminton and tennis are all discounted by up to 40% in off-peak times and 25% in peak times for Passport to Leisure customers.
The cost of being on the scheme is £7 for Winchester district resident and £11 for non Winchester residents. Other discounted costs are detailed throughout this site.
If you qualify you will need to contact the Meadowside Centre on 01489 577 464 to arrange an appointment and bring proof of your address and your proof that you are eligible.
Terms & Conditions
- Discount card is non transferable
- Valid cards must be shown on each visit
- Cards are valid for one year from the date of purchase
- Amended and defaced cards are invalid
- Cards will not be issued if staff are not satisfied with proof of eligibility
- A photograph will be taken for your application
- The centre reserves the right to withdraw the membership if it becomes necessary to do so
