Museum Volunteers

Winchester City Council's museum service has a team of enthusiastic and committed volunteers to help others explore and experience the history of Winchester and the surrounding district.
Winchester City Council is committed to encouraging people to participate in cultural and sporting activities across the District, and the museums community programme is just one of a number of projects designed to support this objective.
If you would like to volunteer to help at one of the City Council's museums, contact Sher Kent, Museum Services Manager, on tel: 01962 848 557 or skent@winchester.gov.uk for more details.
Volunteers will help in a range of ways, from lending a hand with special events and on busy days during high season to behind-the-scenes administration.
