River Park Leisure Centre is a modern and well equipped Leisure complex in Winchester's North Walls Recreation Ground. With a Leisure Centre, Park and Bowling Greens, they offer a diverse range of activities for you, your family and friends.

- State of the art kinetika Gym
A modern, fully air-conditioned high tech gym consisting of a cardio-vascular area, resistance equipment and free weights area. Use as part of our kinetika membership or on a casual basis once you have completed an induction. Our friendly and qualified team can also help you with personal training, GP referral, weight management and support to achieve your goals. - Over 70 workout classes per week
Our extensive programme provides classes to suit all ages and abilities. Whether you are looking for a high energy class, spinning or to unwind and strengthen with yoga, our qualified and highly experienced team can ensure that you choose the right class and work out safely. kinetika members benefit from classes being included in their membership but all of our classes are available to non-members too, prices start from £4.30. This scheme enables those on a low income less expensive rates for centre activities.
Who qualifies?
Registered students, registered unemployed claiming income support or job seekers allowance, registered disabled (incapacity benefit), a lone parent receiving income support, persons over 60 years of age.
Proof of eligibility MUST be shown e.g. formal letter, pension etc. A passport sized photo is also required for the application and a card will be issued to you. Discounts are available on swimming, use of the kinetika gym*, group exercise classes, court bookings.

We have a range of courts available for hire; all are bookable 7 days in advance. Choose from badminton, squash, table tennis, 5-a-side football, short tennis, squash, cricket, outdoor football, netball and basketball. A great way to relax and unwind after a workout or stressful day with a visit to the sauna, and steam room. - Adult Activities
We also run a variety of activities for adults too! Set your inner child free and come along to one of sessions including tennis, trampolining, swimming, netball and gymnastics. We also run adult swimming lessons and pilates and yoga courses. - 50+ Fun & Fitness with the Health & Fun Club
The Health & Fun session are for the over 50's, with an emphasis on keeping healthy by playing sport for fun. Everyone is encouraged to join in any of the activities whether they are experts or beginners. Sessions run every Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 10am-2pm. Activities include: aerobics, racketball, table tennis, tai chi, tennis, badminton, short tennis, yoga, social events, swimming & kinetika gym. - Caféology Café and Function Suite
Caféology Café - Come and spoil yourself at River Park's stylish café and enjoy a variety of food and drinks. Here you can choose from a range of coffees, nutritious snacks and filling meals, plus a few naughty indulgences too!

There's no mess, no fuss and we do all the work whilst you and your children have all the fun. Activities include swimming and a pool inflatable, football, go-karts, soft play, Ocean Adventure, bouncy castle or pick 'n' mix sports activities such as ultimate frisbee, tag rugby or parachute games. River Park Leisure Centre is proud to be running the National Plan for Teaching Swimming developed by the Amateur Swimming Association. Our lessons are tailored to suit various swimming levels and children are guaranteed to be challenged without being overstretched. Continuous assessment of the children means that they can progress through the lessons at 'their own pace'. As an added bonus any children whose parents pay for their swimming lessons by direct debit receive FREE swimming during public sessions. - Junior Activities
River Park runs a variety of courses and drop in sessions which are ideal for children up to the age of 16yrs. Courses must be booked and paid for in advance but children can come to just one or as many of the drop in sessions as they like! Courses include: football with Kick-a-bout, Gyminis, trampolining and gymnastics. Drop in sessions include: Teen Fit, judo, Creepy Crawlies, Mini Gym, Rug Rats, Tots Bop, netball and playing in our Ocean Adventure Play Area. - Teen Fit
Young people can enjoy the use of our kinetika gyms too! Our Teen Fit sessions are supervised by specially qualified staff, fully aware of the way youngsters should exercise whilst their bodies are still developing and maturing. An induction is compulsory before your first visit.

Swimming costumes to woggles, toys for the pool to goggles, we have them all! Our shop offers a wide range of Zoggs swimming accessories and sporting accessories which are available to purchase in our reception area.
DC Leisure Management Ltd manage the leisure facilities on behalf of Winchester City Council, aiming to offer you an enjoyable, high quality service at all times.

River Park Leisure Centre is based at the North Walls Recreation Ground in the city centre. It is clearly signposted from all directions - from the north, exit the M3 at Junction 9. From the south exit the M3 at Junction 10.
Car Parking
Parking facilities include a pay and display car park adjacent to the Centre and additional parking in St. Peter's Car Park (200m from Centre).
