Milestone Projects for 2012

We are also supporting a number of milestone projects that began with the magnificent Winchester Stadium, which is already on the shortlist as a possible training camp for overseas teams along with Sparsholt College's equestrian centre and Westgate School's badminton facilities.

The final milestone for Winchester could be the opening of The English Project, a ground-breaking venture telling the story of the global development of the English language from King Alfred to the modern day. It will be a 'world first' both in its subject matter and the interactive experience it will offer visitors.
