You can start to get involved in 2012 this summer. As the Beijing Olympics draws to a close on August Bank Holiday Sunday, Winchester City Council and Hampshire County Council invite you to come out and celebrate the official handover to London as incoming host city.

Our Big Live Your Dream Picnic is a free event for all the family. Join the fun at North Walls Playing Fields from 11am, and then be part of the procession to Winchester Guildhall to see the raising of the 2012 Handover Flag in the presence of the Mayor of Winchester and other community leaders.
