Local Access Points where all your Housing and Council Tax Benefit queries and Housing issues can be answered are currently available at two locations across the Winchester area.

These Local Access Points provide a confidential consultation from our Housing Benefit Visiting Officer and/or our Area Housing Manager.

A range of subjects can be covered including:

  • General information on all aspects of Housing and Council Tax Benefit
  • General information on Housing Issues
  • A chance for Council tenants to discuss problems with rents, property management or repairs
  • Help completing Housing and Council Tax Benefit application forms
  • Quotes on possible entitlement to Housing and/or Council Tax Benefit
  • Our Visiting Officer can take photo's of proofs that need to be supplied to support your claim for Housing and/or Council Tax Benefit
