Affordable Housing SPD - Adopted February 2008
There are major housing affordability problems across the district. The provision of additional affordable housing is a key Council priority and also a major theme in the Community Strategy.
Black and Minority Ethnic Strategy 2005-08
This strategy presents the aims of the housing service in meeting the needs of its culturally diverse community, and sets out our objectives and targets for the next three years to help us deliver to those aims.
Housing Development Viability Study 2008
In 2008 the Council completed a study that examines the impact of affordable housing policies on the viability of housing development.
Housing Market Assessment 2007
The Council's Strategic Housing Market Assessment carried out in 2007 provides an overview of the housing needs and challenges facing the District.
Housing Strategy 2004-07
Winchester's Housing Strategy is an action-oriented plan with a clear vision and commitment to realising people's aspirations to be well housed.
Older Persons Action Plan
This action plan takes forward the themes from the national agenda and places these within the context of the Winchester District.
Private Sector Housing Strategy
The Private Sector Housing Renewal Strategy brings together the Council's key private sector housing policies and forms one of the major contributors to the overarching Housing Strategy.
