Planning


The Planning section gives details on how to make an application as well as lists of current and archived applications. If you require information on how to make a planning application there are guidance notes to help you. Application forms are available to download, or on-line applications can be made via the Planning Portal.

On 1st April 2011, the South Downs National Park Authority (SDNPA) will become a statutory Planning Authority, with responsibility for all planning applications and other planning matters within the National Park boundary. Useful documents relating to the Local Plan and Local Development Framework can be found here, including the core strategy, annual monitoring report, national and local guidance and sustainability appraisals.
