Homecheck Under 5s Scheme
The City Council provides a free service to all eligible households with young children where the concerns of the possibility of home accidents occurring.
The objective is to identify potential safety hazards, offer advice and to arrange for the provision and fitting of simple and effective safety measures or devices.

Homecheck Over 65 Scheme
The City Council provides a free service to all residents aged 65 and over where there is a potential problem or concern about safety and security within the home. The main purpose of the service is to help reduce falls, slips and trips and thereby reduce injuries.
