The First meeting of the panel starts today at 2,30pm. Following the launch of ABC in the first phase of the district, recycling rates in that area have increased from 18% to 40% which is a fantastic achievement. Health Impact Assessment of Alternate Bin Collection Scheme
You may have seen reports in the National media regarding the work commissioned by the Waste Resources Action Plan (WRAP) which undertook a Health Impact Assessment of the Alternate Bin Collection scheme. This report mirrors work done by the City Council prior to the decision to roll out the scheme district wide following the successful; trial undertaken last year.
