Bin Collection Recovery Plan
The start of the new bin rounds caused problems for some residents across East Hampshire and Winchester Districts, and plans are in place to sort this out as soon as possible. The recovery plan has been put in place to ensure that the majority of previously missed bins will be collected as soon as possible. Extra crews have been out which demonstrates the level of commitment from Biffa to put this situation right. Priority is being given to residents who have been waiting the longest for a collection.
Our advice to households is as follows:
- Please report any missed collections immediately using the online form at www.working-together.org.uk or by telephoning 0300 300 0013
- If your bin is missed please ensure it is left out for collection to allow the contractor to revisit.
- Double check your calendar to ensure you put the right bin out on the right collection day.
- Once you have reported a problem there is no need to contact us again. Collection crews will have your details and will empty the bin as soon as practicable.
