Local Development Scheme

The Local Development Scheme (LDS) sets out the Council's programme for the production of documents that will form part of Winchester District's Local Development Framework (LDF).

A revised Winchester District Local Development Scheme came into effect on 28th August 2007.

The timetable for the Local Development Framework as shown in the 2007 LDS is no longer correct. A revised LDS will be prepared later this year. This will reflect the revised Planning Policy Statement 12 and 2008 Planning Regulations. In the interim, a revised Core Strategy timetable is available to view at the bottom of this page.

The Local Development Scheme also gives details of the transitional arrangements for saving the Winchester District Local Plan Review until replaced by new policies in the LDF.
