Cllr Izard's chosen charities are Winchester Live at Home, Help for Heroes, and The Joe Glover Trust. The theme of the chosen charities is 'Remember the fallen - care for the living'.
Winchester Live at Home
Winchester Live at Home is a charity providing care homes, housing, and support services for older people. Their mission is "to improve the quality of life for older people, inspired by Christian concern". You can visit their website at www.wlahs.org
Help for Heroes
Help for Heroes was founded in 2007 out of a desire to help the wounded Servicemen and women returning from Afghanistan and Iraq. You can visit their website at www.helpforheroes.org.uk
The Joe Glover Trust
The Joe Glover Trust is a children's cancer charity, based in Hampshire. It provides direct help to children with cancer and their families. You can visit their website at www.thejoeglovertrust.co.uk
