The Bishops Waltham Local Office is located in Bishops Waltham Citizens Advice Bureau. This can be found at Well House, 2 Brook Street, Bishops Waltham, SO32 1AX.

Note: The Bishops Waltham Local Office is not fully accessible to people with severe mobility difficulties. Alternative arrangements can be made by contacting the Customer Service Centre on 01962 840 222.

Opening Hours

The opening hours for Winchester City Council services are:

Wednesday from 10.00am - 1.00pm for Benefits and Housing advice. These services are available on alternate weeks. Appointments can be made if preferred to guarantee the availability of an advisor - contact the Customer Service Centre on 01962 840 222 to book an appointment.

Thursday from 10.00 - 12.30 and 1.30 - 4.00 for general advice on all Council services.

The provision of Winchester City Council Services at the Bishops Waltham Local Office is as a result of a partnership between Winchester City Council and Bishops Waltham Citizens Advice Bureau. It is part of a wider initiative by the Council to improve the accessibility of its services to residents in rural parts of the district, which also includes Local Offices in Whiteley and Alresford.

Also available at the Citizens Advice Bureau in Bishops Waltham is a public access computer, offering free access to a number of public service and voluntary sector websites. This provides access to information on a wide range of services, such as health, transport in addition to the services of the City, County and Parish Councils.
