Out of hours emergencies
In the event of an out of hours emergency involving council property or services call our Out of Hours number 01962 865 407 where a list of contacts detailing who may be able to help is held.
If the emergency is related to council housing repairs please call 01962 865 405
Please note - Winchester City Council does not provide a guaranteed out of hours response service other than for limited situations such as Council-owned sewage-works breakdown.
For all other services a telephone answering facility is provided which will endeavour to contact an Officer who may be able to offer advice or make a visit if possible and appropriate.
101 - 101 is a 24-hour number provided by your police and local council to deal with community safety issues, including certain non-emergency crime, policing and anti-social behaviour.
Call 101 to report non-emergency anti-social behaviour issues such as those listed below.
- Vandalism and graffiti
- Noise nuisance
- Threatening and abusive behaviour
- Abandoned vehicles
- Dumping and fly-tipping
- Drunk and rowdy groups
- Drug related anti-social behaviour
