The city's tourist information centre is located on the ground floor of Winchester Guildhall just a stone's throw from King Alfred's Statue at the bottom of Winchester High Street.

Accessible facilities
Following a major refurbishment Winchester Tourist Information Centre now boasts the following:
- ground floor location with an automatic door
- improved accessibility for wheelchair users
- lower counter areas
- portable induction loop
- magnifiers for enlarging documents
- Braille maps of the sensory garden at the back of Abbey House
- disability awareness training for staff
- information on Winchester's facilities for visitors with disabilities
