Street Litter Bins

The City Council's street cleansing service is carried out in accordance with the general guidance contained in the Government's Code of Practice on Litter and Refuse. This service includes a mixture of scheduled and ad-hoc responsive cleaning of public highway areas according to usage and volume of traffic.

There are litter bins throughout the district in residential areas and laybys. All Green Litter bins are emptied weekly. If there is a problem you would like to report a problem please contact the Environment team on 01962 840222 or email environment@winchester.gov.uk
