On the 10th of January 2008 the ladies from The Valley Sheltered Accommodation Scheme were taken to watch ‘The Wizard of Oz’ at The Mayflower Theatre, Southampton.

Schools Tag Rugby Festival - 7th July 2007.
A few months ago there was a whisper about Winchester City Council organising a Tag Rugby team to enter the Hampshire Youth Games.
We decided to take this on and needed to get a team of 10-11 years old, mixed boys and girls ready to play! We approached Stanmore Primary School for this and they jumped at the idea.

Operation - Scrap It
In an effort to promote cleaner safer neighbourhoods, Winchester City Councils Neighbourhood Warden Service and Licensing departments have arranged a two week free collection and disposal service running from February 5th - 16th.

Wardens are working in conjunction with local residents in Highcliffe to improve the effectiveness of street sweeping.
