Rip-offs, scams, cowboy tradesmen - we hear a lot about the bad guys, but what about all those reputable businesses out there doing a good job and with dozens of satisfied customers? Consumers could be forgiven for thinking such businesses don't exist. This is where the Buy With Confidence scheme comes in.

Hampshire County Council Trading Standards run the Buy with Confidence scheme to assist local consumers in choosing the companies they deal with. Once they have been approved, members can display the Buy With Confidence logo and give their customers, and potential customers, the reassurance that they have been vetted by Trading Standards.
