Planning Applications Online
PLEASE NOTE: We are currently experiencing delays publishing documents to the web due to high volumes of work and staff shortages across relevant departments, therefore please allow additional time before trying to view documents on-line. Paper copies of application documents submitted, are available for viewing in our Planning Reception at City Offices, Colebrook Street, Winchester, SO23 9LJ Monday-Fridays 08.30-17.00 (16.30 Fridays), and duplicate copies are also sent to the relevant parish councils. Unfortunately, comments cannot be submitted on-line until the application is viewable, but comments may be emailed to planning@winchester.gov.uk, or submitted in letter format - please ensure the case number is clearly quoted.
The ability to view documents on line is not part of the statutory process for consultation or notification of planning applications. We make every effort to provide an up to date service, but the consideration of applications is not dependent upon access to information being available via the internet.

Details about previous planning applications are provided from 1998 onwards, and the planning history is therefore incomplete. Anyone wishing to obtain planning information for the purpose of property transactions is advised to carry out a local land charges search through the City Council's Local Land Charges Section or the National Land Information Service (NLIS) ( www.nlis.org.uk ) using one of the official Licensed Channels.
