Winchester City Council is involved in various development projects around the District, some of which will see major changes to the area.

Silverhill: The City Council has a development agreement with Thornfield Properties plc to bring new and upgraded facilities and to improve the appearance and vitality of Winchester city centre to the tune of £150m.

West of Waterlooville: The City Council has been working with Havant Borough Council to develop the West of Waterlooville area. A planning application has been granted for a development that will provide 1,550 homes as well as employment land and a primary school.
