Social Enterprises are businesses run for the local community, as a not-for-profit organisation.

- Business Link provides more information about Social Enterprise, and offers advice and support. The Business Support Funding Scheme is currently operating, providing between £500 and up to a maximum of £2,500 for South East based social enterprises who wish to access in depth specialised social enterprise business support using the Business Link Supplier Matching Services. Funding can be used to pay for support that helps the social enterprise to 'acquire the services of a business professional to help develop and sustain the work of the organisation'.
