Capital Grants

Voluntary and community-run organisations in the Winchester District can apply for a capital grant towards improvements, renovations or new build of community facilities.

Consideration can also be given to the purchase of major specialised equipment - for example staging, lighting, sound equipment - which can be demonstrated will increase the community usage of the building.

Parish based organisations are also required to secure financial support from their Parish Council/Meeting.

Application packs and guidance for this grant scheme will be available from 1st September, 2008. Applications must be received in the Council Offices by 31st October, 2008.

Grants will be available for the financial year 1st April, 2009, to 31st March, 2010.
