Examples of Grants
- Flexible grants are available for small businesses who wish to take up leadership and management training. Contact Train to Gain for more details. For more information, telephone 0845 751 2288, email info@traintogainse.co.uk or go to their website.
- You might also be eligible for LEADER funding if you are a rural business that meet RDPE and local criteria. Please visit www.fieldfareleader.org.uk for further information.
- South East England Development Agency (SEEDA) is offering Grants of up to £500 to help small companies make changes to their premises to cut their energy costs. Each company that applies will be loaned a simple energy monitor, provided with a 'walk round checklist', 'switch off' stickers and posters and the application form.

- SEEDA are administering the Rural Development Programme for England in this area, with funds available for rural projects. Contact Helen Dallas on 01483 484200 if you wish to discuss your ideas, or log onto www.seeda.co.uk/rdpe
- The Forestry Commission are also publicising grants for forestry businesses. Download the leaflet below for more information.
- Winchester City Council also has an Open4Community grant search website.
- Hampshire County Council external funding website available.
- BERR have information about the Enterprise Finance Guarantee Scheme
