Arts Funding

Funds for the arts are available from various sources, but demand is very high. Winchester City Council hosts regular information events and seminars for fund-raisers, has a policy for funding arts activity through capital (buildings and equipment), revenue (project and running costs), and community chest (up to £500) grants.   Charities and not for profit organisations that are active in the fields of Health Care and Disability; Community Support and the Arts and Education are able to apply for funding through the Trusthouse Charitable Foundation.

  The Conservation Foundation and O2 have come together to operate this award scheme to help people improve their local environment. "Its Your Community" will provide awards of up to £1,000 to local organisations and individuals to support environmental projects.
